New Year has come and gone and I'm ahead of the game, I've updated my website in January! My first show will be with the Night of Artists XVIII "CIRQUE DU N.O.A." March 6 - 8, 2015 at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert.
In July I was again with Night of Artists at the Taste of Edmonton, 10 days of 12 hour days selling art on the street! This is not for the faint of heart, and but for the other wonderful NoA artists I wouldn't have made it. A wild and crazy bunch, they are!

This is another small experiment with spray paints and pouring medium. I quite like how bright the backgrounds become with acrylic sprays, coupled with the highly coloured acrylics over the top. Emme seemed very female to me.
Waterfalls at Sunset

This colourful piece was more of an experimentation and is less "goopy" with acrylic media than many of my recent ones. I used heavy applications of sandblasting grit to provide texture and the impression of rocks.
Cabin in the Woods

A continuation from Waterfalls at Sunset in that I am pulling back a bit from pure abstraction and presenting very abstracted landscapes from my imagination.
Hothouse, 36x36, Acrylic, $720
Hot and steamy, plants grow like mad in hothouses. This one is reminiscent of my few trips into these growing steam baths. Whew, it's hot in here!
At the Night of Artists show.
My experiments with spray paints and interactions with the Goop of Seven artists have combined into the next set of paintings intended for a Goop of Seven show at VASA in February 2016 and at Scotia Place, Edmonton in March 2016.
