It's 2016 and unfortunately the Daffodil Gallery that carried my work has succumbed to economic pressures and closed their doors. They will be sorely missed by local artists. This also means I will have to get out there and market more of my work, so look for me at the Night of Artists, March 4-6 at the Enjoy Centre and at VASA in St. Albert.
July Evening
36x24x2 Acrylic. SOLD
A distinctly prairie scene as evening approaches over the fields, the distance darkens while it is still sunny overhead. A tree line in the distance gives some feeling of proportion, of the wide open spaces of the Canadian prairies.

Part of a series for a group show in May on a botanical theme.
Sunset, South Shore
Acrylic, 36x55 NFS. Artists collection.
Inspired by a memory of a sunset on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River.
At the Night of Artists show. Thanks to Memory Roth for the wonderful photos.
Tangled Up in Green, 30x30, $600. Acrylic.
I was working on paintings for a 2017 show at VASA with Cathy BIble and Janet Sutanto. I went with a botanical/organic theme for my part of the show. This was inspired by JEH McDonald's Tangled Garden and Bob Dylan's Tangled Up in Blue.
Bred in the Dirt. 24x30, $540. Acrylic mixed media.
A very mixed media painting, including raffia. The ultimate basis for botanical works, the dirt! How many people paint dirt?
